NEWS UPDATE
On Monday, Americans will take a break from their busy lives to remember the brave servicemen and women who have given their lives for their country.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Battle of Mogadishu, which claimed the life of Sgt. Casey Joyce, an Army Ranger, as well as the lives of 17 other Americans. While the story of the battle was the subject of the motion picture, "Black Hawk Down," it is sometimes simply a footnote in American military history.

TROPHY CLUB — Lewisville’s bid to become the first Farmers program to qualify for a state tournament since 1999 will have to wait another day as Game 2 of their Class 5A Region I Final against Marcus Friday at Byron Nelson High School was postponed because of weather.
The teams resumed Game 2 Saturday with Game 3 following, if necessary (results not available as of press time).
