NEWS UPDATE
The King will come to life this weekend as David Allen brings his "Elvis: The Experience" show to Rodeo City Music Hall, 214 W. Davis Street in Mesquite on June 22. The show will start at 7 p.m.
Allen has been performing as an Elvis tribute artist since 2000 when his father was singing karaoke and he began laughing at his father's interpretation of Elvis. His father challenged Allen to do it better. He picked up the mic and a new career was born.
