McKinney police issue Amber Alert for 9-month-old girl

McKinney police have issued an Amber Alert for a 9-month-old girl they say was abducted early Tuesday.

At 2:45 p.m., police officers responded to a missing child report at 713 S. Railroad St. in McKinney. They believe 9-month-old Isabella Reyes was taken by her biological mother, 24-year-old Sandi Alcocer, said MPD spokesman Chad Barker.

29th Annual Pecan Grove Cemetery Memorial Day Tribute


Perhaps there is no more sacred place on earth than the gravesite of a fallen soldier, having offered his or her life so we may live in liberty and the peace of our home. Seven hundred seventy-six American veteran heroes now rest in the historic Pecan Grove Cemetery, from the Mexican War to the Persian Gulf wars. The history of McKinney, Collin County and Texas is woven among the historical figures also buried there. However, it is the “other” story, the story of courage and sacrifice, given with pride to our nation, that we honor each May.
