The Lewisville ISD Board of Trustees will feature two new faces when it meets Monday.
Mark Welding and Kris Vaughn won the election for places 3 and 4, respectively, during Saturday's election while incumbent Brenda Latham won re-election in Place 5.

NEWS UPDATE
McKinney police have issued an Amber Alert for a 9-month-old girl they say was abducted early Tuesday.
At 2:45 p.m., police officers responded to a missing child report at 713 S. Railroad St. in McKinney. They believe 9-month-old Isabella Reyes was taken by her biological mother, 24-year-old Sandi Alcocer, said MPD spokesman Chad Barker.

Sometimes a team leaves the field following a playoff loss reflecting on missed opportunities, unfortunate bounces and feeling as though the better team didn't win.
But that wasn't the case over the weekend when the Plano Senior softball team (20-17) was swept by Humble Kingwood in their best-of-3 regional semifinal series at Round Rock Cedar Ridge High School.
