Nathan Kent Daugherty, 28, of Neosho, MO, died Friday, March 28, 2008, at St. John's Hospital in Joplin, MO.

He was born November 7, 1979 in Joplin. He lived in Frisco, TX, from early childhood until the age of 21, when he moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, for two years before moving back to Neosho.

Nathan was a self-employed landscaper. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Frisco, and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Neosho.

He is survived by his parents, Kent Daugherty, Neosho, and Teresa and John Cook, Frisco, TX; grandparents, Ted and Shirley Daugherty, Neosho, Pat and Tom Casady, Hollister, MO, and Jim and Margie Cook, Dallas, TX; maternal great-grandmother, Marjorie Nordling, Bentonville, AR; paternal great-grandmother, Ruby McReynolds, Seneca; three brothers, Lex, Christian, and Hunter Cook, all of Frisco, TX; aunts and uncles, LaDonna and Jim Parmley, and Mark and Cindy Daugherty, all of Neosho, Johnna and Jared Williams, Rogersville, MO, and Justin and April Clement, Granby; numerous cousins; and his companion, Jackie Farmer, Neosho.

Funeral services was held at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 3, at Clark Chapel of Memories, Neosho, with burial following in the IOOF Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lex Cook, Christian Cook, Hunter Cook, Justin Clement, Alan Daugherty and Brian Daugherty.
