E-mail This StoryRodney Gene Wright was born September 6, 1953 and left this life on April 18, 2008 after a courageous four-year battle with cancer.
He was an avid golfer, horse racing fan, and Texas Longhorn fan. He was a loving father, son, brother and uncle.
Services were at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment followed in Gorman, Texas.
He is survived by his son, Trenton Gene Wright of College Station; mother, Virginia Wright of Lake Leon; sister, Sherry Massey of Watauga; and nephews, Troy and Brian Massey and their families.
He was preceded in death by his father, Burl Gene Wright.
