Gladys Pearl Fininen-Tutson, 59, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on May 25, 2008, at Medical Center of McKinney.
She was born on July 23, 1948, in McKinney, Texas. Gladys Pearl was a precious gift from God who was brought forth by the love of her parents, Louis Charles Fininen and Juanita Williams-Doty. She was a faithful member of the St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas.
She is survived by her sons, Everette Glen (Venicia) of Spring Lake, N.C., Alonzo James (Anastasia) of San Antonio, Texas, Christopher Paul (Kimberly) of Dallas, Texas, and Sean Louis of McKinney, Texas; sisters, Arlinda Brooks (Roosevelt) of Plano, Texas, Gloria Cunningham (Ellis) of Lanaster, Texas, and Mary Chappelle of California; 16 grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
A homegoing will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2008, at First Baptist Church, 401 W. Erwin, McKinney, Texas, with Pastor Charles S. Wattley officiating. A wake and viewing service will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2008, at the church as well.
