Police investigate car windows shot out in west Plano

Plano police are investigating a string of shootings in west Plano neighborhoods that caused thousands of dollars in damage late Saturday night into early Sunday morning.
Rick McDonald, Plano police spokesman, said someone using a type of weapon similar to a BB gun shot out more than 10 car windows and a few vacant house windows.
“The individual or individuals caused all this damage, but did not take any property,” McDonald said. “We had citizens call in a suspicious vehicle and we are investigating at this time.”
