Coach March Bergman is already practicing with the new squad. “Each practice consists of about 30 minutes of abs, squats, lunges, push ups, crunches, wall sits, jumps, squat jumps, planks, a lot of polymetric stuff. We will be working on getting in shape, cheers, chants, dances, painting signs, etc. this summer in our three-hour practices. This is a determining year for us. I think we can put cheerleading into a positive light here in Little Elm. I am hopeful that we can impress the community at pep rallies and games. I hope we can attend some small competitions and win honors there,” Bergman said.
The new Lobo Cheerleader Booster Club board members are President Wayne McHugh, Vice President Tracey Farmer, treasurer Karen Miller, secretary Brandi Brewer, publicity chair Kristy Vivian, and Terri Smith as membership chair.
The theme for the 2009-2010 Lobo cheerleading squads is “You are only as strong as your weakest link.”
