St. Bernard rescue supporters showed their stuff at Friday night’s Movies on the Square in Frisco. The feature film for the outdoor event was “Beethoven,” the story of that lovable St. Bernard with a heart even bigger than his body.
Chuck and Rosemary Cloud own and operate St. Cloud’s Rescue. The two pet lovers said they provide a local place “Where St. Bernards are safe.”

And yes, it is Monday but not too early to be looking ahead to the next Friday night and a special event “rocket launch” planned for Movies in the Square.
Dallas Area Rocket Society will launch at 8:30 p.m. in Frisco Square, prior to the 9 p.m. showing of “October Sky,” the story of a farmer who built his own rocket and went into space.
Movies in the Square continue Friday nights through July, except July 3. Admission is free and usually includes live events prior to the movie.
