Plano ISD: Plano West Theatre to put on ‘Beauty and the Beast’
By Katie Moore
Disney’s beloved classical tale of how a beauty falls in love with a beast comes to the stage of Plano West Senior High School. This production is captivating for all members of the family; children will love its fairy tale nature and adults will admire the students’ talent and the underlying meaning that make it charming.
Watch the spell be broken at 7 p.m. Nov. 19-21 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 22 in the Plano West auditorium at 5601 West Park Road.
The musical is directed by Carla Ford-Rich, Kathy Hackett, Cathy Koziatek and Norv Sykes. The theatre and choir departments provide additional talent to the production.
“Breakfast with Belle” was such a success that it may develop into an annual event. This event benefited the children with a fun morning with their favorite Disney characters along with paying for some of the costs of the musical.
Performances typically sell out quickly so be the first to purchase your ticket at the Plano West Theatre Box Office at 5601 W. Park Road. The box office is selling tickets 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. Tickets are $13 for students and $18 for adults.
