William H. Bowles, 84, of McKinney, Texas passed away December 17, 2009. He was born January 23, 1925 in Rockwall, Texas to Luther Watson and Meddie (Wood) Bowles.
On September 23, 1968 he married Loiyola Rae Box in McKinney, Texas. William proudly served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a firefighter for the Dallas Fire Department and retired after 20 years of service.He is survived by his wife, Rae Bowles of McKinney, Texas, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Pecan Grove Cemetery, McKinney, Texas.
