The Plano Library system will offer Resume Writing Webinar, a workshop to help job seekers from 3-4 p.m. It will be presented by Barbara Safani, resume expert and author of "Happy About My Resume: 50 Tips for Building a Better Document to Secure a Brighter Future." She will demonstrate how to create a powerful resume that really sells skills. This event is free. Each library will feature a door prize drawing for a copy of Safani's book. The Plano Community Band is hosting the 2010 Association of Concert Bands National Convention which features the Largest Free ACB Concert Band Event in North Texas.
Come hear a wide range of wind band music that offers something for everyone. Each night's concert:
April 14 Dallas Wind Symphony, special performance
April 15 Greater Fort Worth Community Band & Carrollton Wind Symphony
April 16 Arkansas Winds, and Austin Symphonic Band
April 17 Plano Community Band, and ACB Convention Band

The 2010 Concerts in the Park Series will get underway with a blast of music under the stars. This rousing Series is presented by Plano Stages and kicks off with a Bowl Full of Blues III.
