Betty June Johnson
Betty June Johnson, 78, of McKinney, Texas passed away August 24, 2010. She was born September 5, 1931 in Blue Ridge, Texas to Alton Miles Parker and Cora Mae (Shockey) Parker.
On February 12, 1975 she married Jimmie C. Johnson in McKinney, Texas. Betty worked for Haggar Slacks for 22 years as a seamstress. She was a member of Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Alton Biggs and wife, Louise; daughters, Debbie Bahm and husband, Dewitt, Donna Klemme and husband, Jack; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; brothers, Joe Parker and wife, Scottie, Durwood Parker and wife, Charlotte.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Cora Parker; husband, Jimmie C. Johnson; brothers, Bill Parker and Jerry Parker; sister, Bobbie Parker.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
