Annie Faye McMurry
Annie Faye McMurry, 81, of Celina, TX, and previously of Royse City, TX, passed away August 11, 2010. She was born December 8, 1928 in Garland, TX, to John and Elizabeth (Armstrong) Shaw.
Annie retired in 1974 as a supervisor at TI. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Weston.
Annie is survived by her son, Van Watkins of Celina, TX; sister, Mary Todd and husband Don of Garland, TX; brothers, Jody Shaw and wife Sally of Mineola, TX, Bob Shaw and wife Jean of Tyler, TX, and Cecil Shaw and wife Betty of Whitewright, TX; grandchildren, Sally Graham of Arlington, TX and Jeremy Watkins of McKinney, TX; great-grandchildren, Janell Watkins of Arlington, TX, LaArion Graham of Arlington, TX and Lillian Watkins of McKinney, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Sam H. McMurry; and eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rockwall Chapel with Pastor Allan Strickland officiating; interment to follow in Royse City Cemetery.
The family received friends Friday evening at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.
