In today’s society, the digital age requires businesses to go beyond the traditional forms of marketing, but doing so is also an opportunity to build the business.

Google searches, online branding and social networking are new opportunities small business owners can use to help their businesses grow, and Thad Stammen, owner of Audience Experts, knows just how important that is. He provides online marketing solutions to small businesses and professionals.

“I offer a wide variety of services including website hosting and design, search engine optimization, social networking and reputation management,” Stammen said. “What sets me apart from the competition is my commitment to the ongoing relationship. I recognize that my clients’ businesses are fluid and change is inevitable.”

Stammen explained that he is committed to evolving with his clients and works hard to tailor his programs and campaigns to each client’s individual needs.

“The company was founded in March 2010, but I’ve been involved with marketing for more than 15 years,” Stammen said. “My background in the corporate environment has included the extensive use of online tools for marketing. That background in utilizing online marketing has built the foundation of my company.”

Relocated to Plano from Anaheim, Calif. in 1999, the Stammens have two children: Sierra,10, and Dayto,7; both attend Hightower Elementary.

Stammen wants Plano consumers to spend their money with Plano businesses, so he pushes his clients to the top of the search-engine rankings.

“Through Audience Experts I bring local businesses access to large-company marketing experience on a small-company budget,” Stammen said. “As a member of The Plano Rotary Club, I have made a personal commitment to service above self, and want that to reflect through Audience Experts. As such, I’ve invested a significant amount of time and effort to give back to the community by working closely with local nonprofit organizations including the Plano Balloon Festival, the Plano International Festival and the Hendrick Scholarship Foundation.”

Stammen said his membership in the Plano Chamber has provided him with numerous opportunities to work with some fantastic local businesses and has broadened his knowledge of the city.

“I’ve lived in Plano for more than 10 years, but was never really involved. Through the Plano Chamber I’ve been lucky enough to meet people who are committed to making Plano great and have made Plano more than just the city I live in — they’ve made it a true home,” Stammen said. “The Plano Chamber of Commerce has numerous activities that every small business owner should get involved with. From the Success in Business meetings to the Young Professionals in Plano Happy Hours, there’s a place for everyone. I’d strongly recommend that if someone is interested in doing business in Plano that they take the time to attend some of the chamber activities and get to know some of their local peers. It’s a great place to network to increase my business exposure and get involved in the community.”

Lindsey Kleinhans, membership development manager for the Plano Chamber of Commerce, said Stammen joined the chamber six months ago and quickly became acclimated with the resources and connections available to him through his membership.

“Thad attends almost every Friday morning Business Interchange meeting and represents his business to over 80-100 attendees,” Kleinhans said. “He also volunteers his time to serve on the Young Professionals of Plano — YPP — committee. This division of the Plano Chamber provides opportunities and resources to maximize personal and professional growth through education, business development, networking, social and civic activities for the future of our community.”
