Police calls for March 26 – April 3 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.

March 26

3:18 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of North Ohio Drive. Reporting Person advised she cleans restaurant at night. There is older red truck that keeps driving around the square. RP is locked inside now waiting for an officer. Checked area, unable to locate.

7:48 a.m. - Major accident at Preston and Sunset. Preston Road blocked, two-vehicle major accident. Accident report completed.

8:59 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 100 block of Doloris Lane. Reporting Person's daughter fell off her bicycle last night and was injured. Child fell off her bicycle because she thought a car was coming behind her. The car was not near the bicycle. No offense occurred.

3:17 p.m. - Criminal mischief in the 500 block of East Malone Street. Damage done to baseball diamond storage area. Offense report completed.

6:21 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances at railroad tracks and Malone. Subjects walking on railroad tracks. Advised subjects that walking on tracks is an offense and they continued walking beside the roadway.

7:16 p.m. - Suspicious person at Preston and Frontier. Suspicious person walking northbound. Subject states he was walking to Sherman. Subject was given ride to Gunter to prevent his being involved in an accident in Celina.

March 27

12:09 a.m. - Noise complaint at Elm and New Mexico. Small dog barking in area. Made contact with resident at Oak Street about barking dog. He said he would do something about dog.

12:44 a.m. - Noise complaint in 500 block of South Arizona Drive. Barking dog at this address. Made contact with resident who advised they would attempt to do something about dog.

4:30 p.m. - Found property in the 700 block of North Preston Road. Cell phone left at pharmacy with messages about drug transactions coming in. Information report.

5:52 p.m. - Suspicious person in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Reporting Person advised shoplifter that tried to fight her on previous date is back in store. Checked area, unable to locate.

6:52 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 3300 block of Twin Lakes Drive. Juveniles inside new construction home. Juveniles were advised they could not play in building and they went back home.

March 28

8:09 a.m. - Criminal trespass in the 300 block of East Maple Street. Person warned by Reporting Person not to return to location. Written notice completed and notes added to county call sheet reflecting CTW. Both parties signed CTW.

10:30 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 500 block of West Walnut Street. Dogs barking. Warning notice left. Will attempt to contact owner later.

March 29

2:46 p.m. - Minor accident at Walnut and Ohio. Truck backed into parked motorcycle. No report, information exchanged.

8:30 p.m. - Theft reported in the 500 block of East Pecan Street. Ipod taken from backpack at Rounders Park. Offense report made.

8:47 p.m. - Theft in the 500 block of Winchester Trail. Theft in progress, white van loading materials at home under construction. Workers laying tile and loading up their equipment. No offense occurred.

March 30

8:19 a.m. - Motorist assist in the 2000 block of North Preston Road. Out of gas. Citizen assisted and car on its way.

5:33 p.m. - Assault in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Reporting Person is now at Centennial Medical Center. She was assaulted at school today and now wants to make a report. Reporting Person will be discharged soon and will come to police department to give statements.

8 p.m. - Suspicious person in the 500 block of South Alabama Drive. Subject was running through the yard and does not live at that address. Was cutting through to get to elementary school to meet friends.

8:16 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 300 block of Tobiano Court. Reporting Person states there are 2 young boys on top of two-story house. Spoke with juveniles who live at address and were no longer on roof. Stated they had been supervised while sitting outside window.

9:06 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 300 block of Tobiano Court. Reporting Person stated there are 2 young boys on top of two-story house. Spoke to juveniles and their mother and advised the boys need to stay off roof for their safety.

9:26 p.m. - Assist other agency in the 200 block of Old Stables Drive. Dogs locked inside vehicle. Referred to another agency. Located dogs in vehicle, owner not at residence. Attempted to contact owner by voice mail.

9:32 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle at County Road 106 and Preston. White Ford parked on right side of road. Reporting Person stated it keeps going up and down road. Unable to locate vehicle.

10:56 p.m. - Domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of Stanford Lane. Caller states it is between daughter and her husband. Verbal dispute over phone, civil matter.

11:47 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle at Light Farms and County Road 51. Vehicles parked on dead end of Light Farms Road which is currently marked no trespassing by property owners. Subject was arrested for warrants and received a citation for paraphernalia. Second subject was arrested for possible dangerous drugs.

March 31

7:59 a.m. - Major accident involving one vehicle and one bicycle in the 100 block of North Ohio Drive. Accident report completed.

5:23 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 3700 block of Quail Hollow. Reporting Person called to report yellow plane flying low over his house. Caller concerned that airplane is buzzing houses that are not close to any fields to be crop dusted. Will forward information so FFA can be notified.

8 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances. Reporting Person had to land a hot air balloon due to a shift in weather pattern. He landed in wheat field and was trying to make contact with landowner. A neighbor came up to RP and advised him that he might want an officer because owner wasn't going to be very happy. Unable to locate. Pilot was able to get balloon back into air and was gone prior to officer arrival.

8:52 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of South Preston Road. Reporting Person is manager, said that red vehicle is parked in parking lot again. RP was told to call if vehicle came back and it is there now. Subject was parked using WiFi from McDonald's to use Internet on his computer.

April 1

2:26 a.m. - Noise complaint in the 400 block of East Beech Street. Dogs barking for last 3 hours at this residence. Spoke to owners and advised them of noise complaint. Owners brought dogs inside.

2:57 p.m. - Disturbance in the 3300 block of Preston Hills Circle. Subject had left location and was located. Subject was issued criminal trespass warning.

6:41 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 2600 block of Stallions Lane. Rabid skunk has been shot with pellet gun. Collin County Animal Control contacted to retrieve dead skunk.

6:55 p.m. - Trash dumping in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Reporting Person stated black male is dumping trash in school dumpster. Situation resolved. Was school employee.

April 2

2:51 a.m. - Welfare check in the 200 block of North Texas Drive. Subject was passed out in vehicle in car port. Woke subject up, he went into house to go to bed.

6:37 p.m. - Peddler complaint at Twin Lakes and Frontier. Reporting Person said there is large moving van parked in middle of road and subjects are going door to door trying to sell things. Vendors had permits to sell for Prosper, not Celina. Explained on how to go about getting permit. No offense occurred.

April 3

5:21 a.m. - Major accident involving two vehicles in the 2900 block of South Preston Road. Accident report, both vehicles towed. Driver of unit 2 transported by Celina fire department.
