WEB EXCLUSIVE: Plano East alum Keenan Robinson tabbed by Redskins in NFL Draft
Plano East alum Keenan Robinson was selected by the Washington Redskins as the 119th pick of the 2012 NFL Draft Saturday afternoon.
The University of Texas product was picked with the Redskins' second pick of the fourth round and looks to bolster the team's inside linebacker corps.
As the first Longhorn chosen in the draft, Robinson was a three-year starter for Texas. During his senior campaign, the former Panther recorded 106 tackles -- 10 for loss -- alongside one sack, one safety, 13 pressures, seven pass breakups and two forced fumbles in 13 starts.
