Officers from the Arlington Police Department recently visited Allen ISD's Vaughan Elementary school to thank first-grader Cheyenne Jenkins for donating her tooth-fairy money to help victims of the early April severe weather.

The officers visited after Arlington Mayor Robert Cluck received a card from Cheyenne with a message: "Maybe this will cheer you up." Also enclosed was $4.08, money that Cheyenne had recently received after losing her two front teeth and a drawing of a rabbit.

The Arlington officers gave Ashley a miniature police badge and made her the honorary police officer of the month for the city.
