Police calls for March 19 - 26 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.

March 19

8:03 a.m. - Traffic hazard at Preston and Ash. Metal junk in roadway. Moved junk off road.

3:29 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 3600 block of Heritage Trail. Injured armadillo in garage. Animal control picked up.

4:30 p.m. - Burglary of building or residence in the 13000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 428. Reporting Person said someone went into their house had took several items from the house. RP said there are several broken windows and door throughout the house. Offense report completed.

8:59 p.m. - Threats in the 500 block of West Maple Street. Reporting Person stated that some guy called and stated he is on his way to RP's house and mess up her grandchildren. RP stated that two persons have been calling her cell phone and making threatening remarks. Advised them if persons show up to call police.

March 20

12:27 a.m. - Abandoned vehicle in the 10000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 455. Vehicle locked up, no traffic hazard.

3:19 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 400 block of East Beech Street. Complaint of black dog at large running around barking at people and kids coming home from school. Criminal citation issued. Attempted to contact homeowner, but no one would answer even though they are suspected to be at home. Citation left for owner. Animal control contacted to pick up dog.


9:28 p.m. - Criminal mischief in the 2700 block of Old Stables. Reporting Person has had another incident where someone has broken out a light on her house. She had previous incident of egging that has already been reported. No report per complainant. RP just wanted to let police know what happened. Someone shot out a light bulb that overlooks driveway, possibly with an air rifle. RP would like more patrols in the area.

March 21

5:55 a.m. - Noise complaint in the 1200 block of Miller Lane. Barking dogs, unable to locate. Barking dogs are not at listed location. No noise in area at this time.

10:25 a.m. - Criminal trespass in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Disturbance with customer last night. Reporting Person will call the police department if subject returns. RP wants subject issued a trespass notice. No offense occurred.

11:50 a.m. - Suspicious person in the 100 block of South Louisiana Drive. Juvenile skating on street during school hours. Juvenile was in court today and returns to school tomorrow. Spoke to his mother. No offense occurred.

5:50 p.m. - Theft at the Pecan Street police station. Walk-in Reporting Person advised that her son's headphones were stolen from his backpack at the Celina track meet on March 15,2012. Witness statement taken from RP and address and name of possible suspect. Information report filed.

6:22 p.m. - Backup officer in the 400 block of Mustang Trail. Assist with follow-up investigation. Backup only.

8:08 p.m. - Reckless driver at Preston and Frontier. Northbound white truck over roadway and passing on shoulder. Unable to locate vehicle.

8:30 p.m. - Peddler complaint in the 500 block of Winchester Drive. Reporting Person said black male wearing blue shirt and tie, khaki pants, going door-to-door selling magazines, walking away from RP's residence. Subject and company given verbal warning. Advised they need permit.

8:35 p.m. - Assist fire department in the 1200 block of Settlers Ridge Road. 82-year-old male had panic attack, asking for police department to respond. Referred to another agency. Door does not have locks. It has become stuck. Fire department was able to get door open.

9:56 p.m. - Assist other agency at Maple and Arizona. Prosper police department is working a runaway. Thirteen-year-old left her home in Prosper with a 20-year-old male subject. They went to her uncle's house in Celina. Uncle is holding male subject down until officers can get there. The female took off again. Did not locate the juvenile. Spoke with subject she got a ride into town with but she was no longer with him.

March 22

12:06 a.m. - Noise complaint in the 900 block of Mellanie Court. Reporting Person said noise either in field behind her house or at a neighbor's. Dogs will not stop barking. No dogs barking in area, unable to locate.

1:10 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 2100 block of North Louisiana Drive. License tag from McKinney address, vehicle setting outside closed gate where recent patrol for subjects from McKinney were threatening resident. Subject in vehicle is a known friend of resident, was not involved in prior incident, no further action taken.

131 a.m. - Runaway in the 500 block of South Colorado Drive. Reporting Person said his 17-year-old son left house out of his bedroom window about 10 minutes ago after arguing with RP. Left on foot. Checked several locations where subject is known to hang out, unable to locate. Father decided to give subject time to cool off and return home on his own as he believes he is nearby at a friend's house.

6:50 a.m. - Motorist assist in the 200 block of North Oklahoma Drive. Car battery dead. Assisted in starting car.

10:41 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 3700 block of Bridle Bend. Assist Collin County Sheriff's Office, backup only.

2 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 100 block of North Ohio Drive. Reporting Person advised car windows were put down. Reporting Person's two-year-old was playing with car remote.

2:33 p.m. - Suicidal subject at Celina High School. Juvenile in need of mental help. Juvenile released to his mother who took him to Greenoaks in Dallas.

3:58 p.m. - Runaway in the 400 block of West Maple Street. Juvenile listed as runaway by Prosper police department is at location. Juvenile taken into custody and transported to Collin County juvenile detention center.

4:17 p.m. - Theft in the 600 block of West Elm Street. Subject stole wallet off top of Reporting Person's vehicle while it was in her driveway. Wallet was recovered, but cash in wallet was missing. Offense report completed.

5:47 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle at Stone and Stanford. Maroon car with Arkansas tags occupied by black males taking photos of people's open garage doors. Checked neighborhood and did not locate vehicle.

5:42 p.m. - Transport prisoner in the 200 block of West Seventh Street. Transporting juvenile runaway for Prosper police department to juvenile detention center.

7:03 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of South Preston Road. Report that red Cadillac has been setting and watching business on several occasions. Extra patrol added for location.

7:32 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle at Elm and Kentucky. Silver Dodge Dakota stopping in middle of roadway around kids playing in street. Vehicle was located and stopped for running a stop sign. No offenses found during contact.

March 23

1:03 a.m. - Community policing in the 3200 block of Preston Hills Circle. Open garage door, crime care completed.

2:41 a.m. - Parking violation in the 400 block of Connemara Trail. Parked facing traffic, crime care completed.

3:31 a.m. - Motorist assist at Preston and Carter Ranch. Vehicle passed officer and then pulled over and turned on emergency flashers. Subject was lost and needed directions.

2:37 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 200 block of Dartmoor Drive. Reporting Person called police department, stated roofing company is using neighbor's electric outlet. No offense observed. Warned subjects not to do it.

4:15 p.m. - Loose livestock in the 800 block of West Frontier Parkway. Loose cow, belonged on Prosper side of Frontier. Cow put back in fence.

6:53 p.m. - Foot patrol at Old Celina Park. Multiple ball games being played, nothing observed.

11:29 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle at Dallas Parkway and Light Farms. Black Chevy pickup driving around water tower. Driver had pulled off road to check text and was turning around to leave. No offense occurred.

March 24

10:52 a.m. - Reckless driver in the 1400 block of East Frontier Parkway. Speeding vehicles, unable to locate.

11:37 a.m. - 911 hangup in the 12000 block of West Farm-to-Market Road 455. System malfunction. Spoke with homeowner. All secure.

1:31 p.m. - Traffic hazard at Farm-to-Market Road 428 and Dallas Parkway. Bike riders in roadway. Unable to locate bike riders.

10:11 p.m. - Criminal mischief in the 200 block of North Arizona Drive. Reporting Person declined to press charges, documentation only.

10:11 p.m. - Criminal mischief at Pecan and Oklahoma. Reporting Person stated that a dark-colored car drove past them and threw eggs at their vehicle. Reporting Person declined to press charges, documentation only.

10:40 p.m. - Domestic disturbance on Winchester Trail. Mom and dad fighting, dad hit mom. Unable to make contact with resident. Will advise day shift to attempt contact.

March 25

12:11 a.m. - Animal complaint in the 500 block of South Arizona Drive. Barking dog, unable to locate.

1:35 a.m. - Animal complaint in the 500 block of South Arizona Drive. Barking dog, unable to locate.

4:29 a.m. - Disturbance in the 900 block of West Bois D'Arc Street. Caller states he can see several kids in front of the house. There is one kid that got beaten up in front of house. Spoke to all parties at residence. All stated that there was no fight, verbal only. No report per complainant.

10:58 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 2700 block of South Preston Road. Reporting Person stated that there was a vehicle with a male and female passed out with the vehicle running. Arrested driver of vehicle for possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.

11:50 a.m. - 911 hangup in the 12000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 455. System malfunction.

1:06 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 300 block of Equine Lane. Reporting Person stated someone damaged his vehicle. RP was unsure when and where damage occurred. Damage was very minor. RP advised to complete an online accident form at Texas Department of Safety website.

6:16 p.m. - Assist other agency in the 500 block of South Ohio Drive. Department of Safety is looking for white Escalade that was traveling the wrong way and hit several different sections of barriers. License plate returns to address in Celina. Located vehicle at address listed on license plate. Assisted Department of Public Safety with locating driver.

8:18 p.m. - Followup investigation on Winchester Trail. Last night had report of domestic reported by two small girls, 10 years old and younger. Spoke to both owners of residence. They have only one small girl. No injuries observed on either. No offense occurred.

8:30 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 3300 block of Preston Hills Circle. Reporting Person believes there is someone in her barn. There is light on inside. No offense occurred. Building searched. No one inside, building secured.

9:26 p.m. - Criminal mischief in the 100 block of South Illinois Drive. Reporting Person wants to speak to officer about someone egging his vehicle last night. RP just wanted to let police know what happened.

March 26

3:18 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of North Ohio Drive. Reporting Person advised she cleans restaurant at night. There is older red truck that keeps driving around the square. RP is locked inside now waiting for an officer. Checked area, unable to locate.
