A missing 16-year-old girl from St. Paul, Minn. turned herself into Flower Mound Police on Thursday.
Mackenzie Rose Morgan, who had been missing since December, turned herself into Flower Mound Police after a family friend contacted her and convinced her to, according to Assistant
Police Chief Wendell Mitchell.
According to reports, Morgan left Minnesota with Kristopher Crawford, who was in his late 20s. Crawford was arrested by another agency near Austin on warrants out of Minnesota, Mitchell said.
At that point, Morgan met up with a family friend from Flower Mound, who immediately brought her to Flower Mound police.
Mitchell said Morgan was calm when she went to the police.
Mitchell said he is not sure what the relationship between Morgan and Crawford was.
