Plano Golfer Wins Tournament
LaRue Johnson
Marc Johnson, a junior on the Plano West Golf Varsity Team, continued his strong play by capturing first place at the NTPGA Junior Tour's SkyGolf Shootout at the Golf Club of Dallas on April 22nd. Johnson came from behind to shoot a second round 2 under 68 for a two day total of 143. With the win Johnson gained an exemption into the prestigious HP Byron Nelson Jr Championship at the Lakewood Country Club June 25 - 27.
