Farmers Branch Fourth Grader Fired Up for Literature

Nancy Daniella Lopez, fourth grader at CFBISD Blair Intermediate School in Farmers Branch, won the Top Reader Award in the “Fired Up for Literature Reading Program" sponsored by the Farmers Branch Fire Department.
On April 27, Nancy Daniella was picked up at home by a Farmers Branch fire engine manned by its fire crew, who escorted her to school. There she was met by the entire fourth grade class, who cheered her on in honor of her achievement. She was presented a Certificate of Award by Farmers Branch Fire Chief Steve Parker, and commended for her achievement of 961 minutes of reading for the Literature Reading Program. Nancy Daniella is an AB Honor Roll student and active member of Bea’s Kids After-school Program.
