Duke, Sheffield lead early in LISD

Kathy Duke (Place 1) and Trisha Sheffield (Place 2) lead in the Lewisville ISD Board of Trustees race after early voting.
Duke has 3,593 votes (61.6 percent) compared to Paige Shoven (1,420 votes, 24.4 percent). June Ehinger and Tracee Ali have less than 10 percent of the votes apiece.
In Place 2, Sheffield has 3,040 votes (53.8 percent) compared to incumbent Vernell Gregg (2,189 votes, 38.7 percent).
