Samuel Hernandez, Jr., age 41, of Celina, Texas, passed away May 20, 2012.
Samuel was born February 4, 1971, in Castroville, Texas, to Samuel and Lydia (Oranday) Hernandez, Sr.He married Amanda McCarty on February 26, 2012, in Frisco, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Hernandez of Celina, Texas; daughters, Amber Hernandez, Kimberly Hernandez, and Samantha Hernandez, all of McKinney, Texas, and Makaela Hernandez of Celina, Texas; sons, Nathan Hernandez and Justin Hernandez, both of McKinney, Texas; parents, Sammy and Lydia Hernandez of Celina, Texas; brother, Abel Hernandez and wife, Eve of Van Alstyne, Texas; sister, Rosie Hernandez-Holguin and husband, Jose of Celina, Texas; grandfather, Pedro Oranday of D'Hanis, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Nicolasa Hernandez and Francisca Oranday and grandfather, Guadalupe Hernandez.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday, May 25, 2012, from 6--8 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Celina, Texas.
