15 residents apply for Place 5

The Flower Mound Town Council will have 15 residents to pick from when choosing who will occupy Place 5.
Tuesday was the deadline for applying for the position, vacated by Tom Hayden when he ran for mayor.
The 15 residents who submitted applications include former councilwoman Jean Levenick, this year’s mayor candidate Al Cloud, planning and zoning commissioner Eddie White and former commissioner David Johnson.
The council will conduct interviews Tuesday.
Also Tuesday, the council is expected to have a work session with officials from the Lakeside DFW mixed-use project to discuss how the proposed development and the town’s mixed-use ordinance can work together.
