Police calls for April 30 – May 2 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.

April 30

1:20 a.m. - Disturbance in the 300 block of East Maple Street. Male subject intoxicated, no weapons. Subject who was intoxicated and lost his shirt was given a ride home by another subject at the location.

2:01 a.m. - Suicidal subject at South New Mexico. Reporting Person states male took pills and he is now unconscious. He had mentioned he was going to do something to himself. Subject's mother was concerned because subject would not wake up. She assumed he might have taken pills because it has happened in past. Subject was only intoxicated and did not make any current threats about harming himself.

3:17 p.m. - Reckless driver in the 3400 block of North Preston Road. Located vehicle at high school. No driver inside.

May 1

8:41 a.m. - Found property in the 400 block of South Colorado Drive. Reporting Person found a bike in his garage that does not belong to him. No offense occurred. Bike has been entered as lost property and is locked up at the police department.

1 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 4100 block of North Preston Road. Reporting Person is concerned about a disgruntled employee. Employee was terminated at their residence and won't be coming to the business location.

5:20 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 800 block of West Walnut Street. Dead armadillo found, referred to public works.

11:24 p.m. - Suspicious person at Preston and County Road 83. Collin County Sheriff's Office called regarding female jogging down County Road 83 in middle of street. Made contact with female who had called her husband. No offense observed, she was released to her husband.

May 2

3:56 p.m. - Assault in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Assault occurred after school. Offense report completed.

6:30 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 500 block of Dartmoor Drive. Juveniles already gone, unknown where they went.

7:05 p.m. - Assist fire department in the 300 block of West Maple Street. Five-year-old hit a fence in backyard with four-wheeler. Referred to another agency. The juvenile injured his hand, his parent is going to take him to the hospital herself.

7:49 p.m. - Noise complaint at Elm and Oklahoma. Sounds like a loud motor. Unable to locate.

8:07 p.m. - Juvenile problem at Tolleson and Derby. Thirteen-year-old female driving blue Pontiac up and down street. Juvenile cited for no driver's license and released to adult family member.

8:17 p.m. - Citizen assist at Bateman and Kerr. Citizen flagged down officer. Citizen said he had seen an older white single cab pickup and vehicle stopped at several mailboxes in area. Officer saw described vehicle, but was unable to locate. Reporting Person did not see anyone exit the vehicle or mess with mail boxes.
