A Plano man has been arrested and charged with one count of using the Internet to send sexually explicit materials to a minor.

Douglas E. Fallis was arrested May 30 by the Department of Homeland Security, in conjunction with an undercover investigation by the Fort Worth Police Department. Fallis will remain jailed until trial, after a judge ruled he would be a flight risk and a "danger to the community" if he was released on bail.

Court documents filed in the United States District Court in Fort Worth detail the investigation that resulted in the arrest. The complaint details how a male undercover officer from Fort Worth PD posed as a 13-year-old female named "Taylor," and how Fallis allegedly used his webcam to transmit sexually-explicit videos to the undercover officer.

The first video was sent March 26, according to the documents. At that time, the officer, posing as "Taylor," allegedly told Fallis "she" was only 13 years old. The documents state Fallis then "apologized for showing his 'cam,' and said he could get in a lot of trouble."

However, Fallis allegedly contacted "Taylor" the following day, as well as on April 18, and used his webcam to transmit additional sexual images of himself, the complaint states. After the April 18 chat, Fallis allegedly apologized, saying "sorry this is wrong, later."

If convicted, Fallis could face up to 10 years in prison.
