Turn the Table on Childhood Hunger

One2One Restaurant and Bar in Frisco is joining in the fight against childhood hunger. The first annual Turn the Table on Childhood Hunger event is a family fun event benefiting the children's feeding program at the North Texas Food Bank. The event is Saturday June 16th from 2 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Without their school's free meal programs many children go hungry during the summer, this event is focused on raising money to help fund the children's feeding program at the North Texas food bank which provides free meals for hungry children during the long summer months. The family fun event will feature activities for children such as a bounce house, games, face painting, the Texas Legends, Texas Tornados Hockey, local artists from the Sodevis Art Gallery, and much more. The event will also have wine tasting, beer, patron cocktail tasting, food tastings, live music, and a raffle with outstanding prizes. In addition to the Saturday event, One2One restaurant is offering a $38 per person three course menu throughout the week of June 11th through June 16th, $5 of each meal will be donated to the Children's Feeding Program at the North Texas Food Bank.
Many of the other stores and restaurants in the Stonebriar Shopping Center are also supporting the Turn the Table on Childhood Hunger event. Isabella's Italia and The Global Peace Factory-Coffee House are offering food tastings and gift cards for the raffle, Kenny's Burger Joint, Cantina Laredo, Silver Fox, Edoku Sushi and Zen Nails are all donating gift cards. Troy Richards Salon is offering nine and one half weeks of beauty, a value of $1000, and they are donating $5 of every haircut on June 16th to the food bank.
