Police calls for May 28 - June 4 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.

May 28

12:22 a.m. - 911 hang-up in the 300 block of Shire Lane. Shire Lane residence is abandoned with notices confirming it abandoned. Unable to locate Reporting Person or anyone. No report taken.

1 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 400 block of East Maple Street. Unknown subject knocking on Reporting Person's door. Subject arrested for warrant.

12 p.m. - Loose livestock in the 1400 block of East Frontier Parkway. Loose horse and donkey. Referred to another agency. Animal Control picked up animals and took them to owner's house.

1 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances in the 400 block of East Maple Street. Unknown subject knocking on Reporting Person’s door. Subject arrested for warrant.

12 p.m. Loose livestock in the 1400 block of East Frontier Parkway. Loose horse and donkey. Referred to Animal Control who picked up animals and took them to owner’s house.

8:08 p.m. – Reckless driver in the 500 block of East Pecan Street. Driver driving off road. Documentation only. Driver stated he was not from the area and did not know the road dropped off so much.

11:54 p.m. – City code violation at Old Celina Park. Two vehicles parked in park after hours. Officer explained park times. Persons left.


May 29

3:28 a.m. – Motorist assist at Louisiana and Beech. Motorist has broken down in intersection. Officer assisted with moving vehicle out of roadway.

8:57 a.m. – Traffic hazard at Preston and Farm-to-Market Road 1461. Rock hit Reporting Person’s windshield. Officer advised that it was a civil matter and obtained truck’s insurance information for RP.

1:08 p.m. – Theft in the 1300 block of Bounds Lane. Stolen water heater, theft report filed.

2:32 p.m. – Major accident at Ohio and Elm. Black Impala, accident report filed.

5:27 p.m. – Narcotics violation in the 2700 block of South Preston Road. Offense and arrest report filed.

6:32 p.m. – Special assignment at Old Celina Park. Assist with baseball awards.

May 30

2:38 a.m. Suspicious persons in the 4000 block of South Preston. Just north of Farm-to-Market Road 1461 persons walking northbound in the northbound lane of traffic. One white female and one white male, looks like their clothes are ripped. Reporting Person said they were yelling at each other. Looked like female was yelling at male to get out of roadway. Criminal citation issued for drug paraphernalia.

3:45 p.m. – Vehicle disturbance in the 3000 block of Falcon Road. Juveniles riding four-wheeler on roadway. Officer located juvenile and returned him to his father who will prevent four-wheeler from going on roadway.

5:44 p.m. - Noise complaint in the 400 block of South Ohio Drive. Loud music coming from vehicle at residence again. Vehicle was no longer at residence upon officer arrival.

7:05 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle at County Roads 51 and 53. Vehicle parked on road with subject inside. Subject had alcohol in vehicle, but had not opened any of it yet. Subject went home to drink his beer there.

11:20 p.m. – Noise complaint at Hillside and Maryland. Loud music and yelling coming from house on hillside. Officer unable to locate anything in area.

11:41 p.m. – Assist fire department in the 500 block of Stefhanie Drive. Smoke in house from lightening strike. Referred to another agency. Checked with fire department to see if traffic control needed..

May 31

12:05 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle at football field. No one located in area.

12:16 a.m. – Harassment in the 300 block of Shire Lane. Received email from Reporting Person in Phoenix, Arizona that a resident in Celina was harassing the RP’s daughter via phone and internet. Officer made contact with alleged suspect and advised him of situation. Said that this was a courtesy warning, that if further harassment continues criminal charges may be filed.

12:52 a.m. – Assist other agency in the 1000 block of Preston Road. Assist with alarm at Royal Car Wash. Helped Prosper Police Department check area.

1:02 a.m. – Noise complaint in the 100 block of Hillside Drive. Loud music playing. Officer spoke to owner of home, advised him to turn music down. Owner and two other Hispanic males drinking and dancing. Advised owner that if we are called out again for the loud music that he will be cited for city noise ordinance. No report taken.

2:28 a.m. – Suspicious person in the 300 block of South Arizona Drive. Subjects ran across roadway, traveling eastbound. Officer checked area but could not find subjects. Spoke with subject on porch of nearby residence, claimed they did not see anything but a coyote.

7:32 p.m. – Juvenile problem in the 300 block of Lusitano Court. Reporting Person said there are some subjects that are being mean to the kids at the fishing lake. RP said subjects are yelling at girls from other side of lake to show them their private parts and saying obscenities. Officer spoke with witness, offending juveniles already gone. Will call if they return so they can be identified.

9:15 p.m. – Minor accident in the 200 block of East Pecan Street. Two-vehicle accident, no injuries. Mirror was broken, subjects had already exchanged information and just wanted to be sure nothing more was required.

9:34 p.m. – Loose livestock at Preston and County Road 107. Reporting Person states there are about 7 black cows out in this area of road. They are wearing tags on ears. Officer unable to locate cattle.

9:53 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances in the 300 block of Shire Lane. Reporting Person states that her neighbors are bothering her and are working on cars. Officer made contact with owner of Mercury. Advised him of situation. Subject said that he is working on his vehicle and has not bothered anyone. Subject was warned not to bother his neighbor and to keep the noise down. No offense occurred.

June 1

12:18 a.m. – City code violation at Founders Park. Subjects in park after close. Officer advised them of ordinance and they left.

4:54 p.m. – Fireworks complaint in the 300 block of Lusitano Court. Kids popping fireworks. Criminal citation issued, E-citation to juvenile.

5:15 p.m. – Criminal trespass in the 4000 block of Lake Drive. Reporting Person states her neighbor is riding an all-terrain vehicle on her property next to her house. Officer spoke with neighbor. He was not aware that all-terrain vehicle was on the property. He will make sure it stays off property.

7:21 p.m. – Juvenile problem in the 400 block of Palomino Lane. Littering from kids earlier. Officer talked to parents. Situation resolved.

10:12 p.m. – Citizen assist on Ohio Drive. Reporting Person requests extra patrol. States her ex-husband lives a few houses down. She is afraid he will go to her house and take her property. He has stated he is not afraid of the police. Suspect does not respect the law. Suspect in early stages of Alzheimer’s disease.

June 2

12:15 a.m. – Assault in the 400 block of North Texas Drive. Stabbing, AGG assault report made.

1:26 a.m. – Suspicious person at Louisiana and Beech. Black male walking on Beech, wearing red shirt and blue jeans. Officer spoke to subject. He was going home to East Maple Street.

2:57 a.m. – Reckless driver in the 1700 block of South Preston Road. Chevy all over road, will not allow Reporting Person to pass, now turning southbound on Preston from County Road 94. Traffic citation issued. No alcohol involved, driver was cited for no driver’s license and a passenger was cited for allowing an unlicensed driver to drive.

9:19 a.m. – Criminal trespass in the 200 block of East Pecan Street. Reporting Person states that subject is drinking beer in launderette. Officer warned suspect that he can’t consume alcohol at the location, that he needs to leave if he plans on loitering. No citation issued at this time.

5:49 p.m. –Traffic hazard in the 3000 block of North Preston Road. Large trash can in roadway. Item removed.

7:54 p.m. – Loose livestock in the 1500 block of South Preston Road. Black calf in roadway. Officer located owner, information passed on to dispatch for cattle listing update.

June 3

12:17 a.m. – Noise complaint in the 400 block of North Texas Drive. Reporting Person states it sounds like there are 2 males that are yelling and cussing at each other. Two subjects were in front yard talking a little loud. They both went inside. No offense occurred.

8:39 p.m. – Animal complaint at North Preston Road. Officer flagged down, Reporting Person states there is a black cow out north of Gunter. Information passed on to Grayson County sheriff’s office.

8:45 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances in the 400 block of Tolleson Drive. Reporting Person wants an officer to come by and take a report. Stated her neighbor told her that her ex-husband has been coming by and taking her mail out of the box. Information report completed.

10:09 p.m. – Suspicious person in the 2700 block of South Preston Road. Reporting Person states 2 people walking a baby in a stroller southbound on Preston, south of Carter Ranch. Officer checked down into Prosper. Unable to locate.

June 4

1:26 a.m. – Driving while intoxicated in the 300 block of South Arizona Drive. Driving on wrong side of road. Offense and arrest reports completed.
