Police calls for May 9 - 12 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.
May 9
12:56 a.m. - Suspicious person at Farm-to-Market Roads 2478 and 455. Subject walking northbound on 2478 to almost 455. Subject was given a ride to County Road 133 and Farm-to-Market Road 455 where he is staying.
3:19 a.m. - Narcotics violation at Malone and New Mexico. Odor of marijuana. Could not locate source of odor before odor dissipated.
3:58 p.m. - Juvenile problem at Palomino and Mustang. Two juveniles riding mini bikes. Officer followed them to Quail Hollow. Spoke with juvenile's father about not being able to ride on public roadway.
5:01 p.m. - Noise complaint in the 400 block of South Ohio Drive. Loud music coming from vehicle. Loud music not found.
6:21 p.m. - Loose livestock at County Road 128 and Farm-to-Market Road 455. Calves back in gate by unknown means.
6:53 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 1500 block of South Preston Road. Open container, traffic citation issued.
7:47 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 1100 block of South Oklahoma Drive. Ford parked in driveway. Officer spoke to neighbor. He said there is now someone living in house. No offense occurred.
9:58 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 300 block of North Arizona Drive. Barking dog, criminal citation issued.
May 10
7:25 a.m. - Loose livestock in the 2600 block of Old Stables Drive. Loose cow in neighbor's back yard. Owner of cows was notified.
8:13 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 100 block of Delores Lane. Reporting Person states neighbor put long screws in fence to hurt her dog. Officer advised neighbor of the issue. Neighbor has agreed to talk with owner to get it fixed.
1:09 p.m. - Child assaulted at middle school. Criminal citation issued to juvenile at school.
7:27 p.m. - Disturbance in the 400 block of East Beech Street. Female and male fighting, verbal only. Citation issued for drug paraphernalia.
9:05 p.m. - Noise complaint in the 3500 block of Heritage Trail. Reporting Person stated neighbors have very loud music. Officer spoke to owner who turned down music. Documentation only.
May 11
2:53 p.m. - Minor accident in 3400 block of North Preston Road. Two-vehicle minor accident in school parking lot. Accident report completed.
5:50 p.m. - Citizen assist at Preston and Carthage. Subject standing under awning at old Dairy Queen. Subject given courtesy transport to north end of Gunter.
7:12 p.m. - Citizen contact in the 3200 block of Twin Lakes Drive. Subject had itinerant vendor's permit from Prosper. Officer advised him he was in Celina and needed a Celina vendor's permit. He said he would get one the next business day.
10:30 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 300 block of Carter Ranch Road. Reporting Person sees juveniles running around in streets. When she asked them to stop they told her no. Officer unable to locate anyone on foot.
11:36 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 500 block of Connemara Trail. Reporting Person said there were 5 to 7 young males running around the street. Officer unable to locate.
May 12
1 a.m. - Major accident at Dallas Parkway and Frontier. Vehicle ran off road in corn field. Driver arrested on four warrants, charged with possession of dangerous drugs, possession of 2 ounces of marijuana and cited for unsafe speed and expired driver's license.
2:15 a.m. - Minor accident at Farm-to-Market Road 455 and County Road 89. One vehicle abandoned, no subject around. Accident and offense report completed.
2:10 p.m. - Assault in the 3600 block of Preston Hills Court. Daughter assaulting mother with knife. Adult female arrested and transported to Collin County Sheriff's office.
4:55 p.m. - Motorist assist at Pecan and Oklahoma. Smoke under hood, occupants attempting to put out fire with sodas. Referred to another agency. Occupants got most of fire put out and fire department arrived, made sure fire was out. Occupants calling friend to help them tow car home.
10:45 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 3400 block of North Preston Road. Lights around high school went out. No problems observed.
11:34 p.m. - Burglary in progress in the 500 block of South Arizona Drive. Someone broke in red Chevy truck and stole Reporting Person's laptop. Two adults and two juveniles arrested for engaging in organized crime, burglary of motor vehicle.
