Mary Lou Bratton, age 85, of McKinney, Texas passed away June 19, 2012.
She was born February 2, 1927 in McAllen, Texas to Ross Davis and Viola (Hall) Davis.On December 22, 1944 she married Edmond R. Bratton in Weatherford, Texas.
Mary and her husband owned and operated The Ben Franklin Craft and Gift Store for 20 years in McKinney.
Mary was a member of Community North Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ed Bratton of McKinney, Texas; children, Gary Edmond Bratton and wife, Supanee of Alexandria, Louisiana, Katherine Lane and husband, Tommie of Rowlett, Texas; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Muriel Tomlin and Ova Mae Wilson both of Ft. Worth, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Bratton and brother, Guy C. Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Community North Baptist Church in McKinney with Dr. Bruce Austin officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Friday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
