The Big BIG Band comes to Dallas at Lamb of God

FLOWER MOUND, Texas - To celebrate music Lamb of God Lutheran Church, located at 1401 Cross Timbers Road, Flower Mound, will host The Big BIG Band from Sweden. Everyone is welcomed to attend this free concert event on July 9 at 7 p.m.
The Big BIG Band started in Sweden in 1955 as a means to reach young people through the Gospel. They have presented over 1,000 concerts in Sweden, England, Germany, and now Flower Mound, Texas. This will be Big BIG Band from Sweden's third stop in their 2012 Texas Tour. Admission is free, but a free-will offering to benefit Shepherd's Canyon Retreat will be received to aid church workers who need spiritual renewal.
"It's a wonderful and fun event to attend," said Chris Winston, Director of Music Ministries at Lamb of God Lutheran Church. "Attendees get to hear a 60-piece set from a big band without a cover charge!"
The Big BIG Band from Sweden, which includes members in their late teens, members who have played in the band for more than 40 years, and all ages in between, will perform a variety of music, all with a "big band sound" that will appeal to all audiences.
