Diana Sue Wright of Plano, Texas passed away June 26, 2012 at the age of 59.
She was born September 30, 1952 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Silas Henry and Ora Lena Shirley.On September 6, 1975, Sue married David Lynn Wright in Canute, Oklahoma.
She had a long career with State Farm Insurance and was a member of Custer Road United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, David Wright of Plano, Texas; sons, Greg Wright and wife Becky of Seattle, Washington, Kevin Wright and wife Cati of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Donna Church of Elk City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Landon Wright, Silas Wright and Claire Wright; niece, Kaylynn Whinery and husband Chris of Elk City, Oklahoma; nephews, Chad Church and wife Meggan of Elk City, Oklahoma, Brad Church of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jason and Jared Wright both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Julie Taylor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and brother-in-law, Van Wright, Jr. of Elk City, Oklahoma.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Lena Shirley; parents-in-law, Van and Clare Wright; and brothers-in-law, Larry Church and Jim Wright.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Custer Road United Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Road, Plano, Texas 75023. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., on Thursday evening, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
