Splash and Blast schedule of events

The second annual Splash and Blast happens this weekend at Old Celina Park. Grab your shades and sunscreen and celebrate the Fourth of July early at Splash and Blast. An all-day water slide pass is $5.00.

5 to 10 p.m. Carnival rides and vendors open.
June 30, 2012
Baseball fields
8 a.m. – Baseball tournament all day
Park
10:30 a.m. – Carnival, vendors, waterslides
9 p.m. – Water slides shut down for fireworks
9:20 p.m. – Fireworks, National Anthem sung by Ron Gentry
10 to 11 p.m. – Live music. Carnival and vendors re-open
Main Stage
2 – 2:30 p.m. – Bethel Baptist Church choir
3 to 3:30 p.m. – First Baptist Church choir
4 to 5 p.m. – Kim Townsend
5:30 to 6:30 p.m. – That Other Band
7 to 8:30 p.m. – JCD and Lone Star Attitude
8:30 p.m. – 9:15 p.m. – Olden Young Band
9:20 to 9:25 p.m. – Ron Gentry sings the National Anthem
10 p.m. – 11 p.m. – Olden Young Band
The new retail shop in downtown Celina, Turquoise Firefly, is the name sponsor for the event.
Southern Kitchen, McFeo Foto Photography, Grayson-Collin Electric Cooperative, Automation Integration, Crossland Construction, Lucy’s are also sponsoring Splash and Blast.
