Staff Sgt. Zachariah T. Migura of The Colony, a construction engineering supervisor with the 284th Engineer Company at Seagoville, Texas, was among those soldiers competing in the 2012 Regional Best Warrior Competition at Fort McCoy, Wis., last month.
Migura is pictured here during the land navigation portion of the competition. During the event, non-Commissioned officers and lower enlisted soldiers competed to test their physical and mental merit, earning points in each of the following events: Army Physical Fitness, Ruck March, Combatives, M16 Qualification, an Appearance Board before command sergeants major, and assorted ‘Mystery Events.’
The top scorers moved on to the U.S. Army Reserve Command Best Warrior Competition scheduled for this month at Fort McCoy.
