Claudia Irene King Jones passed away in Kyle, Texas on June 16, 2012.
Claudia was born in Mesquite, Texas on October 1, 1917 and graduated from Mesquite High School.She moved to Galveston, Texas to work for American National Insurance Company and play basketball on their women's team where she met and married Edward Henry Jones.
She is survived by sister June, daughter and son-in-law Susan and Bill Noles, granddaughter and husband, Elizabeth and Pierre Taschereau, and many well-loved nieces, nephews, and their families.
She lived in LaMarque, New Braunfels and San Marcos and was a member of the Episcopal Church.
The family would like to thank Legend Oaks Rehab Center staff for their kind and compassionate care of Claudia during her last illness.
No services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Claudia's name to The Alzheimer's Foundation.
