CISD approves new principal, assistant principal for Celina High School

Tax rate for coming school year approved

The Celina ISD board of trustees met in a special meeting on Tuesday to approve the hiring of a new Celina High School principal and assistant principal and the tax rate for the 2012-2013 school year.
Bill Hemby was approved as the new CHS principal and David Wilson was approved as the new high school assistant principal.
The tax rate for the coming school year is $1.14 for Maintenance and Operation and 0.50 for Interest and Sinking.
The board also approved the hiring of the following teachers.
Jimmy Smith will teach math at Celina Middle School.
Stephanie Needum will be a new kindergarten teacher.
Lei Ann Stoval will teach first grade.
Myshele Morgan will be a technology curriculum coach for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.
Corey Gilmore will be the CHS band music technologist and assistant band director.
