Fidel Resendez Saenz
Fidel Resendez Saenz of McKinney, Texas passed away July 5, 2012 at the age of 82.
He was born April 24, 1930 in China, Mexico, to Pedro and Antonia (Resendez) Saenz.

On February 11, 1950, Fidel married Celia R. Ramos in Robstown, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Celia R. Saenz; children, Amanda Contreras and husband Clemente of Dallas, Texas, Janie Martinez and husband Luis of Blue Ridge, Texas, Gloria Saenz of Anna, Texas, Isidra Samudio and husband Eddie of Blue Ridge, Texas, Elida Blanco and husband Santiago of Dallas, Texas, Isabel Saenz and wife Irma of Carrollton, Texas and Robert Saenz and wife Debbie of Arlington, Texas, 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ubalda Gutierrez of Plano, Texas.

Fidel is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Antonia Saenz; infant daughter, Dominga Saenz; sister, Maria Reyna; and brother, Rafael Saenz.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Ridgeview Memorial Park, in Allen, Texas. The family received friends during a visitation from 6-8 p.m., on Monday evening, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
