Voters head to polls Tuesday
By Bill Conrad, bconrad@starlocalnews.com
After several delays and court decisions, Election Day for the state Republican and Democratic primaries is set for Tuesday.
Voters will have their say in their party's nominees for several high profile offices, including U.S. House District 3, as well as several state House districts in Collin and Denton counties.
Two of the races drawing the most interest locally are state House District 67, which has five candidates seeking the Republican nomination, and state House District 106, which features a former Lewisville ISD trustee squaring off against a sitting Frisco City Councilman. These races, as well as those for several judicial and county administrative positions, will be up for grabs.
Unlike in early voting, voters are required to vote at their assigned precinct on Election Day. For a list of polling locations, visit www.co.collin.tx.us/elections or elections.dentoncounty.com.
