Pottery Barn Kids at Stonebriar Centre Presents August Activities

Summer fun continues with special events and the every-Tuesday Story Time at Pottery Barn Kids at Stonebriar Centre. August special events include:
Saturday, August 4 at 3 p.m.: BUILD A BETTER LUNCHBOX. Pottery Barn Kids at Stonebriar Centre offers inspiration for packing school-day lunches with fun, easy and healthy ideas. During the free session, Pottery Barn Kids personnel will share expert tips, recipes and games that will make mealtime less hectic and a lot more fun. Reservations are not required.
Saturday, August 11 at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.: WINDOW GARDEN. Presented in conjunction with Kiwi Crate (www.kiwicrate.com <http://www.kiwicrate.com> ), Window Garden invites kids to plan a windowsill herb garden to take home. Everything is supplied, except the imagination. Cost is $10 per child. Space is limited and reservations are required. Designed for children ages preschool and up, but all ages are welcome. Every Tuesday at 11 a.m. in August, Pottery Barn Kids at Stonebriar Centre presents Story Time for kids. Story Times are Tuesdays, August 7, 14, 21 and 28. Story Time is at no charge and reservations are not required. Parents/caregivers are required to remain for the half-hour during Story Time. Children will receive an official Book Club Card at their first Story Time, and the Card is stamped for each attendance. When the Card has five stamps, Pottery Barn Kids will issue the cardholder a $10 coupon that can be used in the store.
Summer Reading Challenge now through Wednesday, August 22
This summer, Pottery Barn Kids at Stonebriar Centre challenges children 10 years and under to read all summer long. There’s a reading list for the Pottery Barn Kids Summer Reading Challenge available at www.potterybarnkids.com <http://www.potterybarnkids.com/customer-service/store-events.html> . Also available is the Certificate of Completion. Adults can fill it out and take it into Pottery Barn Kids at Stonebriar Centre for a free book* when a child, 10 or under, completes a Summer Reading Challenge List.
Pottery Barn Kids is located on the upper level near the main entrance of Stonebriar Centre. Parents-caregivers are required to remain with children during all activities. For information, call (972) 731-8912.
