Randle picked for Under Armour Elite 24

For a second straight year, Prestonwood Christian Academy senior forward Julius Randle has been selected for the Under Armour Elite 24.
The event is Aug. 24-25 at the Venice Beach Courts in Los Angeles.
The slam dunk competition (Aug. 24) and game (Aug. 25) will air live at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
"I'm very happy to be coming back to Elite 24," Randle said. "It was definitely one of my favorite events to play in last year, so I'm happy I get the chance to do it again and hang out with some great players."
The event features the nation's top high school basketball players with selections based on AAU tournaments and national summer camps held by ESPN basketball experts.
As the No. 2 player in the ESPN 100 Class of 2013, Randle fits the bill.
"Julius is very deserving of playing in the Elite 24," said Chris Mayberry, Lions head coach. "He has worked very hard this off-season and I think this is the start of an amazing senior year for Julius here at Prestonwood."
