Charles Evan Bray "Charlie", son of John and Karen Bray, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Bray is the grandson of W. C. and Margaret Roher of Houston and John and Shannon Kelemen of Lewisville. He is a member of Troop 55 in Pottsboro, where he has served as patrol leader, scribe and chaplains aide. He completed 30 merit badges and has four more in progress. Special awards include Arrow of Light and BSA Snorkeling.

Throughout his five years in Boy Scouts, Bray has attended summer camp for three years at Camp James Ray, Clements Scout Ranch and Camp Constantin. He also attended the National Scout Jamboree in 2010 and staffed Camp James Ray in 2011. Bray loves to camp and plans to stay active in Troop 55 until he goes to college.

Bray's Eagle Court of Honor was June 2 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Pottsboro. State Representative Larry Phillips attended and presented Bray with a Texas flag, which had been flown over the State Capitol in Austin.
