Police calls for March 5 - 18 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.
March 5
4:50 p.m. - Juvenile problem reported in the 3100 block of Falcon Road. Fifteen-year-old refuses to come inside, verbal only. Fifteen-year-old did return to house as ordered by mother.
March 6
12:32 a.m. - Alarm in the 900 block of South Preston Road. Gas station front motion, no answer on premise, attempting to contact keyholder. High wind in area, weather related, buildings secure.
8:52 a.m. - Alarm in the 300 block of Shire Lane. False alarm, home repair crew was trying to do some work to residence. Door was open but alarm was still on.
12:31 p.m. - Criminal mischief in the 100 block of Mustang Court. Unknown suspect egged and spray-painted Reporting Person's vehicle. Paint will not come off, report filed.
1:43 p.m. - Assist other agency at Farm-to-Market Road 478 and County Road 88. Major accident, referred to another agency.
1:50 p.m. - Assist other agency at County Road 88 and Custer. Major accident, referred to another agency. Department of Public Safety worked accident.
3:42 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Andalusian Trail. White truck setting in front of Reporting Person's house. Truck belongs to individual taking down Christmas lights. No offense occurred.
5:28 p.m. -Motorist assist at Louisiana and Walnut. Car stalled in intersection. Vehicle moved off in a parking lot. Driver said he was out of gas.
7:08 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 1200 block of Miller Lane. Neighbor's dogs barking. Dog is already inside house, documentation only.
7:30 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 1200 block of Miller Lane. Reporting Person said there is a white Honda Civic parked in front of the house at his neighbors. RP said the subject has been sitting there of about 45 minutes and RP does not know who it is. Subject stated his wife is teaching in one of the houses. Documentation only.
March 7
2:42 p.m. - Traffic hazard at Ash and Colorado. Subjects walking in roadway and not moving for traffic. Unable to locate.
11:58 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle at Beech and Ohio. Vehicle made several passes through the downtown area, pulled over and no one got out. Mother driving around daughter's location checking on welfare of grandchildren.
March 8
1:28 a.m. - Assist other agency in the 200 block of North Preston Road. Assist Gunter officer who was out with 6 suspects, no deputies were available to assist. Remained on scene while Gunter officer conducted searches and made arrests.
3 a.m. - Missing person in the 800 block of West Walnut Street. Daughter last seen this morning when she went to school. Reporting Person said she talked to her at 7 p.m. last night and she was still at school. RP is mother. Daughter drives a silver Kia Optima. Took name and phone number, vehicle description of RP's missing daughter and filing information report.
5:55 a.m. - Follow-up investigation in the 300 block of Stefhanie Drive. Missing person located. Supplement report completed.
10:16 a.m. - Harassment reported at Pecan Street police station. Contact Reporting Person at police department regarding individuals harassing. RP is concerned for their welfare after having a falling out with two individuals. No physical threats at this time. RP wanted to alert police to these individuals and propensity for violence. Requested close patrols at her residence. No offense occurred.
8:09 p.m. - Theft in the 400 block of South Oklahoma Drive. Meet Reporting Person regarding theft of campaign sign. RP advised the zip ties were cut from his campaign sign. Photos taken along with witness statement. Offense report filed.
8:10 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 400 block of Cherry Wood Lane. Reporting Person has a stray cat that got in her house that she can't get out. Opened door and cat ran out, situation resolved.
9:50 p.m. - Motorist assist at Preston and Carter Ranch. Vehicle on side of roadway with flashers on. Subject was having care trouble, relatives arrived while officer was on scene to pick up driver. Vehicle was left parked off of roadway and shoulder.
March 1
8:14 p.m. - Major accident in the 800 block of West Walnut Street. Juvenile clipped by vehicle that did not stop. Minor injuries, vehicle described at black Escalade. Pedestrian was struck by side mirror. Offense report filed.
March 9
1:38 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle at Carter Ranch and Appaloosa. Two vehicles parked at dead end of street, blacked out. Stated they were waiting on friends. No offenses discovered during contact.
2 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 500 block of South Arizona Drive. Reporting Person said she would like alley checked behind her house, her dog is barking and thinks something has been going on the past couple of nights. Did not locate anything in area.
5:03 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 500 block of Winchester Drive. Someone rang the Reporting Person's door bell. Unable to locate suspect. Will patrol the area.
8:25 p.m. - Parking violation in the 600 block of East Sunset Boulevard. Parked in marked fire lane. Traffic citation issued.
11:04 p.m. - Assist fire department in the 200 block of North Texas Drive. Twenty-one-year-old male feeling very sick after smoking cigars. Task completed.
March 10
1:22 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of West Walnut Street. Black vehicle parked in the apartment parking lot. Vehicle does not belong there. Driver stopped to make phone call. No offense occurred.
5:13 p.m. - Minor accident in the 200 block of East Pecan Street. Two-car accident, no injury. Accident report completed.
March 11
5:19 p.m. - Assist other agency in the 6800 block of County Road 127. 911 hang-up, busy on callback. System malfunction.
9:10 p.m. - Burglary in progress in the 900 block of West Ash Street. Reporting Person said she got a call from neighbor that there is male subject in garage. RP believes that person that called her might have been talking about a house down the street. Residence was searched. Nothing out of place, no offense occurred.
10:41 p.m. - Noise complaint in the 1000 block of Mellanie Lane. House across cul-de-sac having party. Homeowner advised noise will be kept down.
March 12
10:23 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 3900 block of South Preston Road. Mack box truck parked at location. Vehicle is not stolen, belongs to a tenant at location.
2:01 p.m. - Meet complainant at Pecan Street police station. Contact Reporting Person regarding her stolen vehicle. RP's vehicle was stolen in Denison by a known suspect. She is afraid this person may come to her residence. She also stated that suspect told her vehicle may be in Lewisville. Request extra patrols and to notify Lewisville police department about possible whereabouts of her vehicle.
7:27 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 600 block of West Sycamore Street. Dog bit Reporting Person on leg, grabbing her pants. Dog did not break skin, but RP has abrasions. Large white and brown dog is outside between two houses. Contacted owner and animal control. Owner is en route. Animal control advised that because skin was not broken and owner has been contacted, that there is no need for them to come out. Information report due to deploying taser cartridge at dog.
10:10 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 2800 block of Saddlebred Trail. Reporting Person said his 17-year-old son took his vehicle without his permission around 6 p.m. tonight. RP was not home when this happened. Son has called the father and said he has the vehicle and “needs some time” before he returns home. Made contact with juvenile and advised him to return the vehicle to his father. Juvenile agreed to return vehicle.
10:59 p.m. - Juvenile problem at Beech and Ohio. Reporting Person wants to talk to officer regarding kids harassing him 20 minutes ago. They left in white truck in unknown direction. Made contact with RP. Spoke to three juveniles, advised them to leave RP along.
March 13
12:23 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances at Frontier and County Road 80. Black SUV stopped in middle of intersection, female in vehicle slumped over seat, has now started driving around, now eastbound on Farm-to-Market 1461. Unable to locate vehicle.
1:52 a.m. - Driving while intoxicate at Preston and Frontier. Small sports car all over roadway. He is directly behind Reporting Person who is in red Cadillac Eldorado. Unable to locate.
4:05 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 200 block of East Pecan Street. Five or six juveniles on bikes hanging around outside of coke machine. Unable to locate vehicles.
7:33 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 12000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 428. Subject sleeping in car. Report completed.
8:33 p.m. - Criminal trespass in the 3600 block of Preston Hills Circle. Reporting Person said his brother-in-law is sitting on back porch intoxicated. RP also stated there is a restraining order on him. Suspect arrested for public intoxication and violation of protective order.
11:26 p.m. - Minor accident in the 500 block of Malone Street. Reporting Person states female that was harassing her rear-ended her and is cussing and yelling at her. Worked minor accident.
March 14
11:27 p.m. - Phone call regarding Reporting Person's friend who is co-signer on his truck in the 300 block of Equine Lane. RP said friend came and took truck saying he is late on a payment. RP wants to know what he can do about situation. Advised RP that situation was a civil matter and if he had any legal questions to contact civil attorney.
March 15
8:31 a.m. - Reckless driver in the 900 block of South Preston Road. Vehicle all over roadway. Unable to locate.
1:41 p.m. - Warrant service in the 2800 block of Morgan Drive. Warrant service from Dallas police department attempt to apprehend individual with felony warrants. Arrest report.
March 16
5:22 p.m. - Criminal mischief in the 700 block of East Malone Street. Car windows broken out. Offense report completed.
10:49 a.m. - Vehicle disturbance at Old Stables and Equine. Vehicles and dump trucks speeding. Unable to locate any violations.
12:02 p.m. - Abandoned vehicle in the 700 block of East Malone Street. Twenty-four hours warning sticker attached.
2 p.m. - Assist fire department in the 2800 block of Arabian Lane. Man bleeding, backup only.
2:21 p.m. - Minor accident in the 100 block of South Louisiana Drive. Minor hit-and-run on parked, unoccupied vehicle. Accident report filed.
4 p.m. - Vehicle disturbance at County Road 84 and Bridle Bend. Polaris driving all over road by two female juveniles. Traffic warning, contacted father, advised of violations.
4:27 p.m. - Missing person in the 400 block of East Maple Street. Subject left yesterday at 3 p.m. and has not returned home. Information report filed.
5:56 p.m. - Burglary of building or residence in the 2600 block of Appaloosa Lane. Unknown person entered a new construction home and took microwave and oven that had already been installed. Burglary report completed. Met new homeowner at residence because she was nervous to go inside on her own before it was checked.
8:10 p.m. - Welfare check in the 400 block of West Maple Street. Reporting Person said there is always some activity at neighbor's house all the time, but now there isn't and all windows are open and looks like a chair thrown over on porch. Located resident who was at work. No problems at residence.
8:56 p.m. - Reckless driver at Preston and County Road 55. Reckless driver slamming on brakes and going into oncoming traffic. Reporting Person no longer following white Chevy pickup. Offense report filed.
9:04 p.m. - Backup officer at County Road 55 and Preston. Backup on stop with weapons in vehicle. Backup only, remained with vehicle until picked up by tow company.
10:58 p.m. - Burglary in the 200 block of North Illinois Drive. Unknown person(s) entered residence through unlocked back door and took a safe containing medication. Burglary report completed.
11:47 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 600 block of West Pecan Street. Snake in front of garage door. Snake has been disposed of.
March 17
2:01 a.m. - Traffic stop at Carthage and Preston. Fail to signal turn. Driver of vehicle was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Offense and arrest report filed.
6:08 a.m. - Abandoned vehicle in the 1800 block of North Preston Road. Black Chevy Tahoe parked on shoulder of roadway. No one present, no offense occurred.
10:46 a.m. - Follow-up investigation reported in the 400 block of East Maple Street. Missing person returned home. Supplement report completed.
1:20 p.m. - Loose livestock in the 2200 block of North Louisiana Drive. Six loose horses, Neighbors and Collin County Animal Control assisted putting horses back in their fence.
2:26 p.m. - Animal complaint reported by phone call at the Pecan Street police station. Dog was loose in the morning. Contacted dog owner who will keep dog secured.
8:38 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 300 block of North Oklahoma Drive. Dog tried to bite her kids, unknown where dog went, black dog, possibly German shepherd. No one was bitten, unable to locate.
10:25 a.m. - Traffic hazard at Farm-to-Market Road 428 and Frontier. Large, deceased animal, possibly a dog, in roadway south of Farm-to-Market Road 428 and Frontier. Checked from Frontier to Farm-to-Market Road 455, did not locate anything in roadway.
11:47 p.m. - Suspicious person in the 500 block of West Ash Street. Two men near front door of Reporting Person's house and they ran away. One male was Hispanic, ran toward post office. They were looking in RP's truck when RP walked outside. Advised RP that officer will check area and make contact with him at his house. Did not locate subjects. Nothing appears to have been disturbed around RP's residence.
March 18
12:26 a.m. - Traffic hazard at Frontier and Amberwood. Trash bag in lane of traffic. Trash bag was removed from roadway.
1:18 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of North Preston Road. Vehicle parked behind doctor's office. No one around, buildings appear secure.
1:45 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle at Missouri and County Road 94. Vehicle was going in and out of housing areas without stopping, driving slowly. Driver appears to be lost. Driver had juvenile in vehicle. Officer knew that juvenile's parent did not want her wandering streets at this time of night so had her contact her father who came and took custody.
12:33 p.m. - Suspicious persons in the 600 block of South Arizona Drive. Two males sleeping in car. Subjects visiting residence at location and sleeping in car. F1s completed.
7:25 p.m. - Prowler in the 200 block of South Oklahoma Drive. Subject was looking in bedroom window during night. Reporting Person knew who subject was, confronted him and he left. Offense report has been completed and an extra patrol placed on residence.
9:49 p.m. - Disturbance in the 300 block of North Louisiana Drive. Officer heard loud arguing in yard of residence. Verbal only, subjects separated for the evening.
10:10 p.m. - Disturbance in the 900 block of West Bois D'Arc. Two subjects pushing and arguing in yard. Adult subject and unknown juvenile were arguing and pushing each other. Subjects left prior to officer arrival.
11:41 p.m. - Warrant service in the 500 block of North Colorado Drive. Subject was arrested.
