Police calls for February 13 - 20 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.
Feb. 13
12:36 p.m. - Motorist assist in the 200 block of North Preston Road. Car on shoulder of roadway. Driver was ill and continued on. Situation resolved.
Feb. 14
1:14 a.m. - Parking violation in the 300 block of Shire Lane. Parked facing traffic, parking violation crime card completed.
1:18 a.m. - Deliver packets in the 2800 block of Quarter Horse Lane. No problems observed.
9:23 a.m. - Domestic disturbance on Prairie Meadow Lane. Assist Collin County Sheriff's office with domestic disturbance call.
2:13 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances reported in the 600 block of South Georgia Drive. Assist fire department with medical emergency.
4:33 p.m. - Minor accident reported in the 3400 block of North Preston Road. Hit-and-run in the parking lot. Reporting Person at the Celina Police Department. Will attempt to contact other driver who is a student at Celina High School. Follow-up required.
7:31 p.m. - Assault in the 3400 block of North Preston Road. Meet Reporting Person at police department. RP advised his 16-year-old daughter was assaulted yesterday by a male student while at school. RP wants to file a report. Offense report for aggravated assault caused serious bodily injury completed.
10:11 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 600 block of West Elm Street. Reporting Person stated there is a small dog that has been running her yard for a few days and it nipped at her earlier. Animal Control notified but will not respond till tomorrow. Dog is in front yard, RP has dog good out for dog on her front porch, no answer at door, so on contact with RP. Task completed.
Feb. 15
7:28 a.m. - Juvenile problem in the 3100 block of Falcon Road. Reporting Person's son not wanting to get ready for school. Spoke to RP's son and advised him to listen to his mother and be ready to go to school. No offense occurred.
11:13 a.m. - Assault reported in the 100 block of North Ohio Drive. Reporting Person wants to document an assault that occurred at her work. RP does not want to press charges, but does want the incident documented. Information report filed.
8:43 p.m. - Suspicious person reported in the 100 block of North Ohio Drive. Reporting Person states there were two black males hanging around the back door of her business. Wants area checked. Checked area, unable to locate.
Feb. 16
7:27 a.m. - Traffic hazard in the 600 block of West Cedar Street. Vehicle illegally parked and in roadway. Advised owner to move vehicle, vehicle moved.
9:46 a.m. - Juvenile problem in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Principal found drug paraphernalia in ceiling. Spoke to juveniles about drug paraphernalia found in school. Reporting Person needed to verify that the items found was paraphernalia. No offense occurred.
9:23 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle at Farm-to-Market Road 428 and Dallas Parkway. White truck just west of Tollway, male subject in it that had extremely slurred and delayed speech, glassy eyes. Warrant arrest.
Feb. 17
11:32 a.m. - Animal complaint in the 500 block of West Maple Street. Loose dog, contacted dog owner who will locate and secure dog.
5:20 p.m. - Domestic disturbance on Quarter Horse Lane. Reporting Person states someone threatening her with a board. Was disagreement between mother and ex-husband over discipline of a child. Appears no assault occurred.
6:07 p.m. - Vehicle disturbance in the 500 block of Connemara Court. Kids riding dirt bikes down street. Unable to locate.
7:55 p.m. - Criminal mischief reported in the 300 block of Carter Ranch Road. Two males threw park benches into lake, one was wearing all black and gray shirt white pants. Juveniles put the table back where it belonged. Situation resolved.
Feb. 18
12:20 a.m. - Community policing at Drake and Miller. Talk to residents in garage, had opportunity to speak to residents about concerns in neighborhood.
12:34 a.m. - Noise complaint in the 800 block of West Walnut Street. Neighbors playing loud music. No noise or music from apartment upon officer arrival. Officer observed lights go out in apartment at arrival, appeared occupants were going to bed.
1:12 a.m. - Noise complaint in the 800 block of West Walnut Street. Stated there is a party and very loud music in apartment complex. Very bad language barrier. Made contact with the resident. Music turned down and warning given.
5:09 a.m. - Assist other agency in the 300 block of Elk. Assist Prosper on disturbance call and intoxicated subject left in red Prius. Unable to locate subject.
2:24 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle reported in the 400 block of West Maple Street. White pickup truck with two white males, subject was looking for house down the street, no offense occurred.
4:35 p.m. - Major accident in the 1300 block of South Preston Road. Two-vehicle major accident. Backup only, assist at accident location.
9:54 p.m. - Firearm complaint reported in the 500 block of South Louisiana Drive. Heard gunshot in area coming from north of residence, does not want contact. Unable to locate anything in area.
Feb. 19
9:34 a.m. - Loose livestock at Preston and County Road 105. Loose white bull near roadway. Citizen assisted officer, bull was put back in pasture.
5:03 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of South Preston Road. Vehicle has been there a few days parked in front of store, silver passenger store. Reporting Person will be inside the store. Nothing out of place with the vehicle, not stolen or wanted. No contact information in computer for registered owner, manager will contact wrecker if owner does not return.
7:34 p.m. - Citizen assist at Tarpan and Palomino. Officer flagged down by HOA member in reference to commercial vehicle parked at Carter Ranch Pool. Wanted to advise that they had stickered the vehicle and would have it towed Monday if it was still there.
9:01 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 1300 block of South Preston Road. Citizen called off-duty officer at home and stated that a door was propped open at Sonic and it did not appear anyone was around the business. Officer advised on-duty officer. Upon officer arrival, clerk was inside cleaning and straightening the business. No problems.
10:11 p.m. - Assist fire department in the 2800 block of Saddlebred Trail. Seven-year-old cannot stop shaking. Referred to another agency. Juvenile transported by EMS.
Feb. 20
4:15 a.m. - Parking violation in the 300 block of Tarpan Trail. Parked facing traffic, parking violation crime card completed.
