McKinney's Killman places 11th at Olympics

Mary Killman, who lists McKinney as her hometown, completed her Olympic run Tuesday.
Killman and partner Mariya Koroleva placed 11th in the women's duet synchronized swimming finals at the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Having swam together for less than a year, Killman and Koroleva made Tuesday's finals by finishing in the top 12 of the prelims. The duo logged an 87.9 in Sunday's technical program and an 88.27 in Monday's free program to take 10th.
The duo logged a 43.78 technical merit score and 43.99 on artistic impression for a combined 87.77 That mark was added to their original tech score for a total of 175.67 and 11th place finish.
The gold medal was won by Russia's Natalia Ishchenko and Svetlana Romashina.
