Collin Creek Mall hosts blood drive August 24, 25 and 26

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 24, 25 and Sunday, August 26, Carter BloodCare will be at Collin Creek Mall encouraging shoppers to roll up their sleeves and donate blood. At this time of the year, the blood supply is often low and North Texas needs 1,100 blood donors a day for to meet the needs of area hospitals.
Hours for the blood drive are Friday and Saturday, August 24 and 25 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, August 26 12 to 6 p.m.
The Carter BloodCare registration table will be on the lower level in the Sears wing from 12 to 6 p.m. Walk-in donors are welcome, however individuals can also make an appointment by calling 817.412.5245. Donors with appointments will be taken first.
Carter BloodCare is the largest blood center in Texas and is accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks, licensed by the Food and Drug Administration and a member of America’s Blood Centers.
