Tressie Lee Crane Dean Dobbs, born June 28, 1923 to Beulah and Rivous Crane in Mesquite, passed away at home on August 16, 2012.
She was a lifelong resident of Mesquite and member of First United Methodist Church of Mesquite.She was a 1941 graduate of MHS.
After retiring from International Harvesters, she enjoyed traveling.

Tressie was preceded in death by both husbands; grandchildren, Lori Dilbeck, Christopher and Tanna Akins; great-grandchildren, Madison Taylor and Kristopher Jahue Akins.
She is survived by daughters, Peggy Akins (Keith), Janet Clanton (Joe); stepdaughter, Brenda Parker (Ronny); stepson, Eddie Dobbs (Beverly); five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held at New Hope Funeral Home on Sunday, August 19 from 5-7 p.m. Service was held at First United Methodist Church, 300 N. Galloway Ave. on Monday, August 20 at 2 p.m.
