Cities to distribute DEET insect repellant

As a part of the DCHD’s ongoing efforts to combat West Nile virus, cans of DEET insect repellant have been distributed to county offices for free pickup by county residents.
The 5,000 cans of repellant, which were donated by Cutter, are immediately available at the locations listed below. As this is a limited supply, only one can per household will be allowed.
Among the locations are the Denton County Health Department (Lewisville branch), 190 N. Valley Parkway , Suite 203; the Sandy Jacobs Government Center, 1209 W. Rosemeade Parkway in Carrollton; the Roanoke Government Center, 876 N. Highway 377 in Roanoke; and The Colony Governtment Center, 6307 Main Street in The Colony.
