Sue Evelyn Loftice, age 83, of McKinney, Texas, passed away September 13, 2012, in McKinney.
Sue was born April 16, 1929, in McKinney, Texas, to Jim and Willie (Stice) Knox. She married Billy Ray Loftice on October 17, 1945, in McKinney. Sue was a member of First Christian Church in McKinney.She is survived by her daughter, Jimann Woods and husband, Brent of Whitesboro, Texas; grandchildren, Valerie Grygar, Natalie Woods, and Ryan Woods; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Loftice of McKinney, Texas and Venita Loftice of Gilmer, Texas; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 17, 2012, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Dr. Neill Grimes officiating. Interment will follow at Melissa Cemetery in Melissa. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday evening at the funeral home.
