Chamber’s Beahm to resign
From staff reports
Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce Chairperson, Jane Foster announced today that Kathy Beahm, executive director of membership services, has decided to resign her position with the chamber.
Beahm stated that she would “semi-retire” so that she could spend more time with her family and particularly with her seven grandchildren, ages 4 to 14.
Foster said, “Kathy has been an important part of the chamber organization for the last five years and the many contributions she made to the chamber over that time have been extremely valuable.”
The Chamber board of directors has an annual, strategic planning session that is scheduled to take place in November.
Foster also trumpeted the vision shared by Mayor Tom Hayden at last week’s chamber luncheon where Hayden shared the council’s desire to develop a symbiotic relationship between the town and the chamber to promote programs that would benefit both civic and economic development.
