JARRY
Elsie Jeanette Jarry of Plano, Texas passed away at the age of 76 Friday, September 21, 2012.
She was born March 2, 1936 to Marion and Vida Jarry, in Jacksonsville, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister, Leon Jarry and Freida Faucett.
Elsie was a resident of Plano, Texas and Deatsville, Alabama. She retired from a nursing position at Terrell State Hospital in Terrell, Texas. Elsie was an avid reader and a long-time member of both the local sewing guild and embroidery club.
She is survived by her children Barbara Barnes of Arkansas, Sheila Bennett of Virginia, and Hal Bennett of Alabama. She was a grandmother of two and great-grandmother of two.
A private memorial service was held in Texas. Ms. Jarry chose to donate her body to the UT Southwestern Medical School. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Elsie will be missed by many and especially by her beloved family.
