LEGACYTEXAS BANK MAGIS GOLF CLASSIC TO BENEFIT JESUIT
LegacyTexas Bank has again teamed with Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas to present the 2012 Magis Golf Classic. The tournament is scheduled for Monday, October 8th at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco. In its second year, The Magis (meaning “the more”) already ranks as one of the top ten charity tournaments in North Texas. In 2011, the tournament raised almost a quarter million dollars for tuition assistance, athletic programs and service initiatives at Jesuit. According to LegacyTexas Bank C.E.O. George Fisk, the 2012 Classic promises even more.
“We are very proud of our partnership with Jesuit and our support for education in general,” said Fisk. “Jesuit is recognized as one of the premier college preparatory schools in the country. When the business community supports that kind of excellence in education, the entire North Texas region benefits.”
The 2012 edition of The Magis Classic will be played at the Stonebriar and Fazio Resort Courses near Legacy Drive and 121. The event will kickoff on Sunday evening with a sponsor appreciation dinner and play will begin Monday at 9:00 a.m. The partnership.between Jesuit and LegacyTexas began in 2009 and is the result of a business relationship that has grown over the past several years. The local North Texas bank is the presenting sponsor of The Magis as well as the official bank of Jesuit Dallas.
